The Balboa Club also provides a welcoming bar and restaurant and friendly staff who will know you by name shortly after you arrive. The Balboa Club was started by a group of American Sportsmen in 1955. It's members and visitors included President Reagan, President Ford, global tycoons and movie stars such as Jackie Gleason, John Wayne and Frank Sinatra. Very Private. Civilized. Decidedly unpublic. The Club facilities are are squarely in the middle of Mazatlan's Golden Zone. Everything is very, very good. The service is impeccable.
